Fall Notes

Thanks go out to a lot of people. First of all to those who showed up at the church two weeks ago and spent a lot of sweaty hours helping to spruce up the grounds of the church. The results are beautiful and everyone should go up to the church and see the flower beds in front of the social hall. Everyone one either brought special talents, employees from their company, or donated flowers for the landscaping.
I don't want to forget to mention names, so everyone involved knows who you are and a great big thanks go out to you all.
The very grey and wet home tour last weekend was a chilly one. But we did sell a lot of Kiestwood Kookies and bottled water. Thanks to those who helped staff the bar at the Kessler Theater. Which by the way, is going to be really cool when finished. Hopefully by New Years Eve. The owner, Edwin was on site and gave constant tours of the facility. It's like our own Winspear Opera House!
Don't forget to mark your calendars for December 8th. That is our holiday party at the church. Everyone needs to bring a "home made" holiday dessert. The bigger the better! Get out your recipe books now! Halloween is coming, get your candy ready for the trick or treaters!
