Southwood Methodist is on the Home Tour

On the weekend of October 10-11, the Oak Cliff Home Tour will be featuring many beautiful homes in Oak Cliff.
I saw a preview and everyone should have a great time touring the homes.
Southwood Methodist will also be featured on the tour and this is a great thing for Kiestwood.
This also means, hundreds of visitors will be coming to our neighborhood to see us and it is really important that we are "visitor ready". Don't forget our workday on October 3rd from 9-12 at the church. We could also use a few people to help host the church during the tour that weekend. Let us know if you can help.

The city will have picked up all garbage during that week, so there should be nothing left on the curbs.
No limbs, no bags, no mattresses,no toys, no furniture. If you see a neighbor who might need help in preparing their front yard, lend a hand as we are all in this together.

This is a great opportunity for Kiestwood and since we will celebrate our 60th in two years, the league might be interested in featuring the entire neighborhood as a tour in itself. But we need to show them this year, we can pull together and look great. We will be handing out a Kiestwood brochure at our Water Bar(have you volunteered?) showing the history of Kiestwood and featuring some of the homes for sale. We want the best neighbors in Kiestwood. We deserve the best, and we are the best!
